KeeKaWa's Kaery-Anne, who also acts as  Diefenbaker, is the puppies' real mother.

 

 

 

When the dogs were on the set, they hung out in a  $50,000 six meter,  heated trailer, which  contained three separate kennels, each having its own  separate bed and meter long exercise run. Storage cupboards for doggy supplies were located in the front of the trailer. A comfortable atmosphere was created for the trainers, composed of leather chairs, a sound system and a television set for the long waits in between filming of the dogs' scenes.
